Michelle Vy, MD, FAAD

Dr. Michelle Vy is a distinguished board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and a fellowship- trained Mohs surgeon, currently serving on faculty at the University of California, Davis. She attended University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology with High Distinction while consistently earning a place on the Dean's List. She later earned her MD from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into both the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Pathology Honor Society.

She completed her dermatology residency training at the University of California, Davis, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Vy chose to further specialize and remained at the University of California, Davis for a prestigious joint fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology. Under the guidance of Dr. Suzanne Kilmer at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California, she honed her skills in cosmetic dermatology. Additionally, her Mohs surgery training was completed under the nationally renowned Dr. Daniel Eisen at the University of California, Davis. Her significant contributions to dermatologic surgery research have solidified her position as a respected authority in the field.

Dr. Vy is an active member of esteemed medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, underscoring her unwavering dedication to advancing the field of dermatology. She extends her influence to medical education, where she serves as a mentor and teacher, working with medical students to enhance their clinical skills. Her deep commitment to community service is evident through her volunteer work, which includes providing dermatology services to underserved populations and participating in medical relief efforts abroad.
